Studio dilli is a Cape Town-based design studio creating bold, made-to-order furniture and lighting for expressive interiors. Shaped by material, colour and craft, the studio develops signature pieces across consoles, tables, lighting and modular furniture, with selected bespoke commissions available.
At its core, studio dilli explores furniture as a focal point — not an afterthought.
2017
Founded in 2017 by Dutch designer Dille Thomas, the studio emerged from an exploration of organic curvature and modular systems. Over time, the work has evolved through material research and the continued refinement of form.
2022
The practice relocates to Cape Town, South Africa, marking a new chapter and the evolution into studio dilli.
Today
Today, studio dilli produces defined objects and commissioned work in small runs and one-offs, collaborating with clients and architects to create furniture that is expressive and enduring.
